• The Barnes Foundation/ Schwartzzoe 4ème 5

Hello everyone, this afternoon I went  to the Barnes Foundation, let me give you my thoughts:
This beautiful museum is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . Albert Barnes was a rich entrepreneur who had made a fortune through the invention of an antiseptic. Following this, he threw himself into the collection of paintings and especially French art.  The idea of creating a museum space that could accommodate all these objects dates back to 1921. The goal was to allow all his friends to approach the works while maintaining the identity of his villa. That is to say by adding to the collection furniture and everyday objects.
The Barnes Foundation hosts the world’s greatest collections of different varieties of art:

    Impressionism

    Post-impressionism

    Early modern paintings

If you ever have a chance to visit this incredible Foundation,  you will have the great opportunity to contemplate many works of classical or modern creators such as:
    Renoir, Cézanne, Picasso or Degas.
The collection also houses a wide variety of African artifacts as well as ancient Egyptian and Greek and Roman art  to decorative works of European and North American origin to furnish his villa.
I spent a wonderful time at The Barnes Foundation and I hope to have made you want to go there.
