hey everyone, i recently went to the Moma  art mseum and it was incredible. I have never seen so much amazing   modern art in one day, and to be honest i'm not a very big modern art fan but tis was amazing. Let me give you a little back ground on the Museum of Modren Art (its full name). Lets go

So Moma is an art museum in the center of New York in Manhattan created in 1929 by three influential of arts  women (Abby Rockefeller ,Mary Sullivan  and Lillie Bliss) that had a passion for art. They wanted people to understand and enjoy the art of their time.                It changed  three times it's location between 1929 and 1939 where they setteld in the building we know today in manhattan

Their first director Mr Barr came up with an idea for the conception of the museum where their would be" multi departementeal" structures based on the origin or the different art form, so basicly the art is presented in  very specific sections and not randomly  a bit like Le Louvre.

Their are aproximitly 2,8 milion visitors a year and over 200 000 art pieces from different art styles ( paintings, sculptures and other randomn art pieces) You can see art pieces from very famous artists like: Salvadore Dali, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Henri Matisse or Frida Kahlo

so to conclude the MOMA is an incredible museum wih amazing art peices and artists so i highly recommend you going their but if you don t want to buy a plane tiquet to New York you can just go to the Louis Vuitton foundation in the bois de boulogne because the MOMA have kindly lended a good part of the collection to them so go their quick!!!

most of my info came from the moma page and the moma wikipedia page allright byeeeeee
